Trolling Fishing Rods
Trolling rods are used for a fishing method of dragging a lure or bait along or behind a moving boat called trolling. Usually any casting rod, except the ultra light ones, can be used as a trolling pole, and they aren't usually actually called a trolling rod.
If you find a fishing pole marketed as such, they are usually for sea trolling or large lakes like the great lakes, and therefore, larger fish. You can find many of these trolling rods on eBay to buy for a lot cheaper than you might guess. Look for them there, and you can save enough money for that fishing trip that you've always wanted.
